Key Insights
- Prominent crypto equities including Coinbase, BitMine, and Strive experienced notable gains.
- This upward movement coincided with a broader recovery in Bitcoin and the majority of altcoins.
- Digital assets also climbed following the release of disappointing employment figures in the US.
Leading crypto-linked equities—such as Coinbase (COIN), BitMine (BMNR), Strive (ASST), and Robinhood (HOOD)—advanced today as the ongoing cryptocurrency market rally persisted.
In premarket trading, Coinbase shares climbed 3.5%, while BitMine surged 2.8%. Both Strive and Robinhood experienced increases exceeding 3%. Additional sector participants, including Bullish, Circle, and Stablecoin Development (SDEV), likewise maintained positive trajectories.
Crypto Stocks are Jumping After the Weak US Jobs Data
Major firms within the digital asset sector are thriving as momentum builds across Bitcoin and most altcoins. Bitcoin advanced to $86,705, and Ethereum climbed to $2.755. Other major tokens extended their gains, driving the total valuation of all cryptocurrencies up by 2.2% to reach $2.9 trillion.
This upward momentum persisted following the release of the latest nonfarm payrolls (NFP) figures by the US government. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the domestic economy generated only 29,000 jobs in September, falling short of the 89,000 anticipated by forecasters. Compounding the disappointment, the agency revised downward its employment figures for August from over 162,000 down to 133,000.
Furthermore, the report indicated that the unemployment rate ticked up from 4.1% to 4.2%, missing expectations that it would remain at 4.1%. Manufacturing payrolls declined from 15,000 to 6,000. These figures point to an economic slowdown, which could prompt the Federal Reserve to maintain current interest rates through the remainder of the year.
Historically, Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market tend to perform well when the Federal Reserve either enacts interest rate cuts or signals an end to rate hikes.
Crypto Demand is Rising
Cryptocurrency equities like BitMine, Robinhood, Coinbase, and Strive are also benefiting from an expansion in token demand.
Data from CoinMarketCap indicates that total trading volume across the crypto market surged past $103 billion. When incorporating derivatives markets, aggregate volume grew by 10% to exceed $225 billion during the measured timeframe.
Futures open interest rose 5.47% to reach $156 billion, with Bitcoin open interest climbing to $57 billion and Ethereum open interest advancing to $35 billion.
Simultaneously, investors continue to allocate capital into Bitcoin and altcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), signaling sustained demand growth. Spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted over $102 million month-to-date, following inflows of more than $2.6 billion in September and $3.52 billion in August. Additional inflows continue to build assets across altcoin ETFs tracking tokens such as Solana, XRP, and HBAR.
Crypto Market Rally to Boost Top Cryptocurrency Stocks
The ongoing digital asset market recovery stands to benefit several key industry participants. For instance, Michael Saylor’s Strategy, which maintains a treasury of 847,666 Bitcoin, stands to gain significantly from sustained upward price action; should Bitcoin reach $100,000, the value of those holdings would exceed $84.7 billion. Strive’s Bitcoin holdings would similarly reach a valuation of $2.7 billion.
Coinbase stands to gain from its Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings alongside heightened trading activity from retail and institutional participants. Meanwhile, BitMine will see the value of its Ethereum reserves appreciate as token prices rise.

Technical indicators point toward a potential continuation of Bitcoin’s upward trend. The asset has successfully broken above the crucial $82,000 support threshold, marking its strongest level since September.
Additionally, the cryptocurrency has printed a golden cross pattern, while the Average Directional Index (ADX) has climbed to 41. Having also broken out above the Supertrend indicator, the asset could continue its ascent toward the next resistance target at $90,000. A decisive break above that level would clear a path toward $100,000, developments that would collectively provide strong tailwinds for major industry players like Coinbase, BitMine, Strive, and Robinhood.
