Chainlink (LINK) Eyes 200% Surge Following CCIP 2.0 Launch

Key Insights:

  • Analyst Javon Marks indicated that a $47.154 target for LINK remains viable, implying a potential 200% upside.
  • Coinbase chose Chainlink to serve as its tokenized-stock oracle provider, while spot Chainlink ETFs pulled in $6.3 million in weekly inflows.
  • Whales accumulated over 2.5 million LINK across a 10-day span.

The price of LINK climbed past $15 as Chainlink broadened its institutional framework alongside accumulation from major wallet holders. LINK finished the Sept. 28 session near $15.43, marking a daily gain of about 10%.

This upward movement aligned with the rollout of CCIP 2.0 and sustained institutional adoption. Over recent months, organizations such as Coinbase, Wyoming, and other prominent financial entities have scaled up their implementation of Chainlink technology.

LINK Price Rally To Continue for Another 200%

During the past month, Chainlink’s price has displayed considerable resilience, climbing nearly 40% up from lows of $10.68. Despite a wider cryptocurrency market correction preceding the publication of US PCE inflation figures, LINK has maintained its momentum in pursuit of a breakout above the $15 mark.

Cryptocurrency analyst Javon Marks noted that Chainlink (LINK) has completed a notable recovery and could be initiating a fresh bullish phase. Marks pointed out that an established breakout goal of $47.154 stays active, which could translate to an approximate 200% surge from current prices should it materialize.

Chainlink Whale Activity and On-Chain Data Shows Strength

This latest price advancement follows robust whale participation. Large-scale investors have steadily bought Chainlink (LINK), acquiring upwards of 2.50 million tokens in a 10-day period. According to analyst Ali Martinez, this consistent purchasing behavior signals ongoing demand from whales.

Furthermore, Martinez highlighted that roughly 1,500 new Chainlink (LINK) wallet addresses are generated daily, demonstrating steady expansion within the network’s user base. Martinez mentioned that if this accumulation trend holds, the upcoming resistance barrier could materialize near $16, a level where 16.9 million LINK were previously bought.

Beyond that threshold, Martinez pointed to $17.70 as an additional critical barrier, noting that another 22.7 million LINK were gathered at that valuation.

Chainlink CCIP 2.0 Goes Live, Institutional Demand Grows

Chainlink announced the official launch of its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) 2.0. Prominent participants tied to the ecosystem feature Fidelity International, ANZ, SBI, Deutsche Börse, Google Cloud, and AWS.

This revised protocol enables institutions to integrate custom validations via cloud environments, adjust settlement velocities, and enforce regulatory compliance rules on transactions. Additionally, the CCIP 2.0 upgrade grants applications enhanced oversight regarding cross-chain protection while preserving Chainlink’s foundational verifier network. This represents a major milestone for a protocol that has already facilitated more than $24 billion in total CCIP transfer volume.

Concurrently, institutional interest in the Chainlink ecosystem continues to strengthen, driven by objectives to bridge digital assets, traditional finance, and tokenized equities.

Data analytics firm Santiment reported that Coinbase has designated Chainlink as the oracle network for its tokenized equities. Meanwhile, Wyoming has broadened its adoption of Chainlink to support the state-backed FRNT stable token.

Per recent data, spot Chainlink exchange-traded funds brought in an extra $6.3 million in weekly capital. These investment vehicles currently manage roughly $227 million in LINK assets, representing about 2.2% of the circulating supply.
