- The Binance Coin price has increased by roughly 15% over the past month and is up over 42% since the launch of the BNB ETF.

VanEck has updated its BNB ETF by introducing a staking feature several months following its debut. This modification enables the fund to stake the majority of its BNB assets while preserving a cash reserve to handle redemptions. Meanwhile, the Binance Coin price has climbed past $775, hovering near $782 on the weekly timeframe. Market participants are actively monitoring whether BNB can maintain this upward momentum and challenge higher resistance barriers.
BNB Price Holds Near $777 as ETF Staking Takes Shape
According to an updated filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, VanEck adjusted the investment strategy of its spot BNB ETF to incorporate staking as a secondary objective. This revision follows a second custody agreement made by VanEck Digital Assets with BitGo Bank & Trust, which appoints Figment to oversee staking validator operations.
The ETF intends to stake its BNB inventory, setting aside a dedicated reserve dedicated to processing redemptions. The BNB Smart Chain currently enforces a mandatory seven-day unbonding period when a staked allocation is withdrawn. During this window, those tokens remain locked and generate no staking yields.
Debuting on Nasdaq in May 2026, the VanEck BNB ETF was established as the inaugural U.S. spot fund tracking BNB. The product stores its BNB via Anchorage Digital Bank and BitGo, applying a 0.39% sponsor fee. Participants can generate or redeem shares through either cash or in-kind transactions structured in blocks of 10,000 shares.
Prior to its initial rollout, VanEck removed the staking component from its ETF proposal due to regulatory uncertainties surrounding how staking rewards are classified. The recent filing introduces the specific validator and custody frameworks required for BitGo to facilitate the fund’s staking activities.
Binance Coin Price Eyes $838 Resistance
BNB has advanced by more than 15% across the trailing month, sustaining a position above the $775 threshold. Weekly charts position the asset near $781.73, mirroring a recent push toward the upper boundary of an ascending channel.
Technical projections highlight the next notable ceiling close to $838.41. Surpassing that barrier would draw focus to the $937.41 zone. Additional hurdles sit near $1,135.40 and $1,297.67, marking the primary upper boundaries identified on the weekly technical setup.
Looking downward, the chart highlights a support floor near $715.76. Further safety nets rest around $600, $544.34, and $474.24, which could come into play should the BNB token drop below its present support levels.
This upward price action has coincided with a surge in derivatives participation. Data from CoinGlass demonstrates that BNB futures open interest expanded by over 0.52% within a one-hour window and nearly 0.35% across four hours, alongside a 24-hour expansion exceeding 1.20%.
BNB ETF Assets Remain Small
Data from recent reports indicates that the VanEck BNB ETF currently manages approximately $1.20 million in net assets, with total assets under management hovering around $2.70 million. While the implementation of staking alters how the fund manages its BNB reserves, future asset expansion will rely heavily on ongoing investor interest and broader ETF inflows.
BNB’s valuation has also climbed since the ETF’s introduction, boasting gains of more than 42% relative to its May pricing metrics. This latest climb has lifted the token past $775, bringing it closer to the initial resistance target at $838.
Within the weekly setup, the $715.76 region continues to serve as the primary foundational support on the charts. Maintaining values above this mark preserves the current technical formation, whereas a decisive drop would open the door to lower supports down to $600.
